The ‘Three Men and a Deejay’ Tour!
We’ve teamed up with indie clubnight favourite DJ El Mariachi to present the ‘Three Men and a Deejay’ tour of Australia and New Zealand through October and November 2010!
The Shake Up will be launching their debut album ‘…if you have no shame’, which Brisbane’s Rave Magazine considers “How punk-pop should be done in 2010.”
DJ El Mariachi is a permanent fixture at popular Sydney indie clubnights Teenage Kicks and Britpop, having also performed regular sets at Purple Sneakers, MUM, Paradise City, Fool’s Gold and Club 77.
Between The Shake Up’s visceral live show, DJ El Mariachi’s seamless mixes and spritely local support bands, the ‘Three Men and a Deejay’ tour will provide audiences with a non-stop indie clubnight experience!

August is Album Release Party Month!
We’re playing a brief run of east-coast club shows through August to celebrate the release of our debut album ‘…if you have no shame’!
These shows will be a warm-up to our nationwide album tour later this year, which will be coming to a venue near you! Stay tuned for an announcement…

Debut album now available!
Our debut album ‘…if you have no shame’ is now available in stores and online! Produced by Detroit’s Jim Diamond and mixed by New Jersey’s John Agnello, the album has so far yielded two singles, Makes Me Sick and Everybody Loves It — each with their own promo clips and Australia-wide tours. We’ll be touring Australia soon to launch the album and its third single ‘Every Friday Night’!

‘Everybody Loves It’ film clip teaser!
We’ve just released a behind-the-scenes trailer for our new film clip on our YouTube channel!
The clip is for our latest single ‘Everybody Loves It‘ and will be released here on Monday 10th May. It comes from the same team responsible for our acclaimed ‘Makes Me Sick‘ film clip from 2009.
The clip will have its premiere screening in Sydney this Saturday 8th May with a FREE show at Oxford Art Factory!
